Sun Exposure and UV Radiation

Is sunlight really bad for skin?
Not really. If we are exposed to sunlight excessively and are exposed without proper protection, it can, and will, change skin elasticity, texture and color by creating free radicals. This phenomenon is called photo aging.
There are primarily three types of radiations that we encounter in 200-400 nm.
Wavelength region.
UV-A Low energy from 400-320 nm radiation, which is called Tanning Region
UV-B Low energy from 320-290 nm radiation which is called Erythemal Region
UV-C High energy from 290-200 nm radiation, which is called germicidal region
Sunscreens to combat the above regions UV-A and B are:
UV-A - Benzephenone-3, Methyl Anthranalate
UV-B - Octylmethoxycinnamate, Homosolate, Octylsalicilate
Physical Biockers- Metal Oxides like Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide etc.
Surva ingredients compounding uniqueness
Sunscreens
We use all sunscreens in their natural solubility state, which is the lipid soluble form. In their natural solubility form, there are no issues of migration, or interaction with other ingredients. None of the sunscreens went through thermal excitation, meaning they were not exposed to heat in making finished products. This way, the sunscreen activity is good and by assay we can prove the concentrations are good. Our products are esthetically good since we use only necessary ingredients. No waxes, mineral oils, fillers etc.
